Spagetti Squash



  • 1 spagetti squash
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper


Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Using a knife make holes in the squash and fast cook it in microwave 3-5 mins.  This makes the squash easier to cut in half, make sure you cut length wise.

Scoop out the inside and add olive oil and salt and pepper and place squash cut side down on a pan.

Brush each half with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bake for 45 minutes or until spaghetti squash pasta is soft.

Use a fork to scoop out the seeds from the squash, rake with a fork in the same direction as the strands to make the longest ‘noodle’.

Place on a plate or in a bowl and top with your favourite sauce or just basil, salt, and pepper. Enjoy.
